Class National Insurance Employee will reduce from 12% to 10% from 6 January 2024 so end of this month

Employees National Insurance deduction is expected to be lower

It would be advisable to speak to your payroll software provider to enquire whether the % reduction will be automatically done or will some manual adjustments be required

Usual with cloud software or even non cloud softwares updates are implemented to bring in the changes

However, there is always the option to manually calculate the NI deductions by reviewing the different thresholds and then apply 10% for basic rate payer on NI E’ee
